1 OF 4
Give your introduction a face.
In You the app paints a surreal portrait of you from one selfie. That portrait, never your photo, is what another person sees.
Tab 4 · Burn
Not a feed of faces. You prepare a face and a song now; at the Burn you make one wish; when somebody makes a wish that fits, you both get one invitation. Two yeses, a public place, a time. The matchmaking runs worldwide, and Burn 2027 is its special edition.
Before the Burn
Your Burn begins before you arrive. Nothing here is promised: an introduction may happen, or not.
1 OF 4
In You the app paints a surreal portrait of you from one selfie. That portrait, never your photo, is what another person sees.
2 OF 4
The door is a song. Sing the thing you would rather not say out loud, 5 to 15 seconds, sung, not spoken. Off-key is welcome, polite is not. Listen back, sing again, then choose whether a person you are introduced to may hear it. Your song is never used to choose who you meet.
3 OF 4
Forty invented people show what an introduction looks like: a face, a song, a little of who someone is. Ten of them sing. They are examples, not users.
4 OF 4
In Burn settings you say whether you are attending and whether you allow introductions. Both start off. You can set reminders, quiet hours, and a note for when it opens.
At the Burn
When the season opens, this tab turns into a map of the city.
1 OF 6
RIGHT NOW, I WANT… a kiss, food, a dance, someone to listen, to cry, or space. A wish lasts 20 minutes. Space pauses all invitations. The map shows how many people wish what, never where they are.
2 OF 6
The same wish meets the same wish: kiss with kiss, food with food, dance with dance, listen with listen. Tears meet someone who wants to listen. Space meets nobody. On top of that, you need at least one thing in common from the threads you confirmed about yourself, like playful, quiet or curious. One encounter at a time. The same two people meet at most once a season.
3 OF 6
“Two spells just crossed.” You see their chosen name and portrait and can hear their song. Yes, connect or Let it drift. Silence is not agreement.
4 OF 6
You agree on an easy-to-find public place and meet in 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Any change needs a new yes from both. On arrival: Look for the yellow comet. A hello, a kiss, or anything more remains a fresh human choice. Report or block at any moment, and that person is never introduced to you again.
5 OF 6
When you are introduced, the app can make a seven-second duet: your portrait sings a phrase of your song, theirs answers with a phrase of theirs. A small film that belongs only to the two of you.
6 OF 6
Afterwards: “The city disappears. What stays with you?” If you both tap Keep this connection, a free private room opens that lasts beyond the Burn. Either of you can end it.
What another person sees
Why it works this way
Swiping turns people into a catalogue. Here nobody browses anybody. You never see a list of faces, and nobody sees yours.
A wish is not consent to touch, and an invitation is not a promise. Two independent yeses, a public place, a time. The app’s job ends there.
