Philosophy

A mirror with humour.

A private mirror with depth, humour and irony, carried by Shiva and Parvati. Not a typical matchmaking app, and not a typical mindfulness app. Here is the thinking behind every screen.

Catch desire before it becomes presentation.

Most apps about love ask you to present yourself: the best photo, the best sentence, the best angle. This one starts earlier, with what you want before you have decided how it should look.

That is why the diary asks for ten sentences and not one. The first few are usually the ones you would show. The later ones are the ones you mean.

The mirror must never become a judge.

Nothing you write is scored, ranked or turned into a type. There is no streak to break and no badge to earn. “Not a streak. Not a score. A trace of what keeps returning.”

Writing something does not commit you to doing it. A private desire is not a plan, and the diary is uncensored because it is private.

Mythology is the blueprint of human suffering.

Every problem you can have, someone in the old stories already had. The Puranas were written thousands of years ago and they are still exactly about us: jealousy, loyalty, the family that will not accept a partner, the word kept at too high a price.

So the answers come from stories, not from advice. And only from real stories: every one the gods use names its book. The library →

Two voices instead of one verdict.

A chatbot gives you one answer in one confident voice. Shiva and Parvati disagree. He defends, she raises an eyebrow, and the answer lives in the space between them.

That is why it looks like a sitcom. Humour keeps a hard truth light enough to carry home.

The counter-spell to the swipe feed.

Swiping trains you to shop for people. This app never shows you a catalogue of faces, and never shows yours to a crowd.

At the Burn you make one wish and you may get one invitation. A face, a song, a name. Not a profile essay, not a score.

Matching is an optional second act.

The ten sentences are not a price you pay to get a person. You can use the diary, the gods, the guru and the course for years and never switch matching on.

If you do switch it on, it can be switched off again.

An invitation never promises a person.

Both people choose. Silence is not agreement. A wish for a kiss is not consent to touch, and agreeing to meet is not agreeing to anything more.

The app’s job ends at a public place and a time. What happens next is a fresh human choice.

Private does not mean mysterious.

Privacy also means knowing what happens. Your diary is encrypted on your phone. When you allow AI reflections, films or portraits, permitted AI services process what you send, and the privacy page names every one of them.

We do not claim that nobody can ever see anything. We tell you exactly who processes what, and you can switch each part off. The privacy promise →

What it is not.

Not therapy, not diagnosis, not crisis care. Not astrology. Not a swipe-based dating app. It is for adults, 18 and over.

It succeeds if you become a little more able to recognise, name and act on an honest desire. That is the whole measure.
